Right, as long as your 18 or over, and using a computer that I don’t have

I said nothing about wiping it off the net.
I said nothing about telling others that want to view it that they can’t because
‘ I said so’.

That was my choice and responsibility to make as a parent to my own kids.
I never even said the you couldn’t allow your own kids to view it if it doesn’t
bother you.

Parental responsibility, not the government, nor anyone elses.
If you feel you have to relegate that responsibility to a government agency,
don’t have kids.

That was my point.

They already have that ability, always have.

I have twins, they are now 18.
They have had net access since they were little.
They knew I could, and would, check on them.
I didn’t need to be looking over their shoulder, all it took/takes is a
little education to know how to check, and where to check, and ground rules.

1. I will check where you’ve been, if you go where you shouldn’t .. you get cut off.
2. If you cover your tracks so I can’t check, you get cut off.
3. Your MySpace/facebook/etc profiles are to be private and passworded, I am to have
that password. I will be informed of everyone you add, I will check.
4. Change the password, you get cut off.

I caught them .. once .. surfing porn sites. I cut them off for a month and …
I have a good friend who has a farm, and raises cattle. They spent a month
going over there, shoveling cow manure for my bud. I told them if they want to
look at shit, they may as well shovel it.

kids nature to be curious, and a PARENTS responsibility to be diligent. Not
the government or any other special interest group.

Parents already have the ability, but many don’t want to take the responsibility.

even though the internet is about openness, parents and guardians should have the ability to control what their children become exposed too in a open easy to use fashion.
