Sasser author hired

p2pnet.net News:- Sasser author Sven Jaschan has been hired as a programmer by German firewall security firm Securepoint, says UK anti-virus firm Sophos which in July claimed 70% of all virus infections in the first six months of 2004 could be linked to Jaschan.

“Jaschan discussed the Netsky worms he was writing in early 2004 with his brothers, sisters and many of his classmates,” says the German magazine Stern.

“They even encouraged me to add something that would cause damage, but that was never what I wanted,” Jaschan says in the magazine, whcih goes on that eventually, everyone in Jaschan’s class knew what he was doing, “and Jaschan claims that some of them helped him distribute his malicious code”.

That former virus writers can gain “hasty employment” with security companies sends out a dangerous message, says Sophos.

Jaschan was recently indicted for computer espionage.

Great news! Now maybe we can end terrorism by hiring some mullahs or even Bin Laden!

    Idiots, total idiots.

  2. Reader's Write Says:

Where do you think the ‘experts’ who work for a lot of these high level companies come from?

  3. Reader's Write Says:

So, the next kiddie that codes a global worm should expect to get a slap on the wrist? This isn’t good news – I can see lots of kids in poor Countries learning to code worms/trojans/virii in school as it’s a career path….. ok perhaps not, but it sure doesn’t feel too far off… :(

Sven Jaschan, owes me time and money,
for dealing with his pain in the @ss email worm…

    but hey!
    ……………. Wait !

Let this “German Security Company” hire the kid!

That’s good.. when he’s making some solid money,
everyone can start hitting him up for damages.

  6. Reader's Write Says:

Cutting off his balls is to good for him!!!!!!!

  7. Reader's Write Says:

I respect the kid. It takes a lot of time in learning how to hack. And, why not work for a firm that those just that. Many hackers work in IT jobs, do u expect this kid to work for a food stand? Maybe, all the haters.

  8. Reader's Write Says:

Fuck that bitch fag of a hacker! My computer is total screwed because of him. If I were to see him in the street you would best believe that I would break his fucking finger so that he would never work on a computer again

  9. Reader's Write Says:

I am sure Jeffery Dammer would make a great homicide detective…
