Spector denies murder charge
p2pnet.net News:- Music producer Phil Spector, indicted for murder by a grand jury in a "secret" September 20 hearing, says he and his lawyers will attack the prosecution’s case "in public as well as in court".
"The actions of the Hitler-like DA and his storm trooper henchmen to seek an indictment against me and censor all means of me getting my evidence and the truth out are reprehensible, unconscionable and despicable," continues the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Charged with shooting actress Lana Clarkson, 40, in February last year, he’s is free on $1 million bail and faces life in prison without parole if he’s found guilty.
Spector maintains Clarkson shot herself, says the Union-Tribune, adding:
He worked with the Beatles, among others, and was, "notorious for episodes involving firearms".

Spector was one of the most successful producers the music industry has ever known, and should be able to hire the very best army of lawyers that money can buy.
The simple fact that he was released on 1 million dollars bail - which is mere pocket change to him - already shows the direction this is taking.
