Now ‘Uncovered’ goes p2p
p2pnet.net News:- Two weeks after releasing original footage from Outfoxed for free p2p file-sharing and re-editing, Robert Greenwald has now turned footage from Uncovered: The War on Iraq loose under the same license terms.
He describes it as another hot potato that’s critical of the Iraq war. Originally released in 2003, Uncovered is largely interviews with US military and intelligence officials.
The interviews can be shared on p2p networks, or publicly performed for noncommercial purposes, under the Creative Commons "Sampling Plus" license.
And, emphasises Greenwald, as with Outfoxed, anyone who wants to can transform or edit his original footage or use it in their own films under the terms of the license.
A DVD release of Uncovered is slated for October 19.
