Supermodel Adina Fohlin’s scary ad!
p2pnet news view Movies | Advertising:- Swedish supermodel Adina Fohlin apparently isn’t taking it personally, but an advertising video in which she stars is scaring the shit out of some viewers.
In fact, “Almost 100,000 Swedes, many of whom viewed the clip on YouTube, have joined a Facegroup group called I am scared of the girl in the Apoliva commercial’ (Jag är rädd för tjejen i Apolivareklamen) in reaction to the film,” says The Local.
And several other related groups, in favour of and against, have also shown up on the social advertising site, says the story.
Set to the “haunting tones of a Swedish folk song,” the shows a close-up of a, “rather sullen and emaciated Fohlin standing in the snow, rain and sun,” says the story, adding:
“The clip ends with the tagline, ‘Apoliva – for Swedish conditions’.”
Negative advertising, anyone?

Negative? Everybody’s talking about it… I’m curious to see sales numbers.

It’s most likely a publicity stunt, a clever marketing campaign. “Hey let’s use facebook and try to hype this up, maybe more sales will result?” “Yeah, people are sheep, they follow anything!”
