palmOne pda – flash memory
p2pnet.net News:- palmOne bills its $400 Tungsten T5 as the handheld that doesn’t forget.
However, forget Wi-Fi: it doesn’t have it.
Nonetheless, with 256MB of flash memory and Bluetooth, it’s nice and if you’re not familiar with flash memory, think digital camera and those tiny cards that save images even when you take them out of the camera.
And that’s what palmOne has is promoting: the unit’s ability to save data in nonvolatile flash so it holds information without a charge or power.
It also features drag-and-drop so you can easily move date to and from your pc, and a high-res 320×480 colour screen, so you can watch videos although they, “may require conversion via the desktop”.
