Ex-conman security spokesman
p2pnet.net News:- Frank Abagnale used to dress up as an airline pilot so he’d look good when he was scamming bank tellers and hotel clerks into cashing his worthless cheques.
These days, he’s "one of the US’s most respected and sought-after fraud prevention experts and an authority on forgery, embezzlement and secure documents," says news.com.au.
He also just become the National Cyber Security Alliance Public Service Announcement spokesman, says the report.
Not at all incidentally, Sasser author Sven Jaschan was recently hired as a programmer by German firewall security firm Securepoint.
He was also ‘honoured’ by Silicon.com, although it says it wasn’t really patting Jaschan on the back. He was ranked Number 4 on Silicom.com’s Top Technologists list because he was, "the first person to be caught as a direct result of Microsoft’s virus bounty – the $250,000 sum put on the head of the writers of some of the worst viruses from the past 12 months".
