Warner Music, Cisco, want your money
p2pnet news view Music:- Cisco is the latest corporate megalith to decide it’s time to make money out of online music lovers.
And it’s chosen Warner Music of Choruss fame to help it get into your wallet.
In an, “expansion of a strategic relationship,” Warner says it’ll use Cisco’s Eos “social entertainment” application to, “power many of its artist web sites and play a key role in WMG’s direct-to-consumer initiatives”.
Cisco says Eos is a, “hosted white-label ’software as a service’ platform that enables Media & Entertainment companies to create, manage and monetize social entertainment experiences built around their branded content”.
“Today`s dynamic music industry environment requires us to radically transform the role we play in the music ecosystem and, at WMG, one of the most important ways we have been doing that is by developing powerful new approaches to enriching relationships between artists and fans, burbles Warner’s Canadian boss, Edgar Bronfman jr, in Music Week.
Warner and the rest of the Korporate Kopyright Klan have been blundering around online for years and they still haven’t figured out the way to get people to buy is by wooing them instead of suing them.
Instead, they come out with one cockamamie scheme after another believing the music loving crowd is dumb enough to fall for their see-through bafflegab.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win ~ Mahatma Gandhi

edgar bronfman jr. is up to his eyeballs in criminal enterprise…fact
his whole family is seriously connected to real mafia groups as well as evil worshipping secret societies…fact
it starts to make sense to me now as to why they are so soulessly cavalier about suing and destroying peoples lives over some really bad music and intellectually void movies.
greedy souless pig…see you in hell edgar jr., i wish you nothing but the worst

Thanks for your post. Admittedly, in the past the relationship between Silicon Valley and Media companies has been rather tense. Interestingly, Cisco Eos aspires to help media companies make money by partnering with them. We welcome you to our blog to read more about the approach here http://blogs.cisco.com/media/comments/cisco_and_hollywood_partnership_that_makes_sense/
