FBI ‘agent provocateur’ incited bloggers: lawyer

But the talk show host and blogger, “was an FBI trained agent provocateur, says Infowars, quoting Turner’s lawyer.
“The supposed white supremacist worked for the agency from 2002 until 2007,” says the story.
He was, “trained by the FBI on how to be deliberately provocative,” the Associated Press has his lawyer saying.
Turner worked for the FBI from 2002 to 2007 as an “agent provocateur” and was taught by the agency, “what he could say that wouldn’t be crossing the line,” defense attorney Michael Orozco said, according to the story, which quotes him as stating:
“His job was basically to publish information which would cause other parties to act in a manner which would lead to their arrest.”
Earlier you know year Turner told his blog readers to “take up arms” against Connecticut lawmakers, says Infowars, going on:
“He also said government officials should ‘obey the Constitution or die.’ In June he wrote that the Illinois federal appeals judges ‘deserve to be killed’ because they issued a ruling that upheld ordinances in Chicago and suburban Oak Park banning handguns.”
He included photos of the judges and the room numbers of their chambers at the courthouse, says the story.
Prosecutors acknowledged Turner, “was an informant who spied on radical right-wing organizations, but the defense has said Turner was not working for the FBI when he allegedly made threats against Connecticut legislators and wrote that three federal judges in Illinoise deserved to die,” says AP.
He’s slated for trial on the federal charges on October 5, says the Hartford Courant, adding:
“His next court date in Hartford is set for October 19.”

“American white nationalist and white supremacist” -> Wouldn’t that be Rush Limbaugh more than anyone else? What could Turner say that would lead to his arrest that Limbaugh hasn’t already said?

I hate white supremacist but what hapen to the freedom of speach?
It is like prosecuting or harassing people people for denying the holocaust.
Although I agree that it is like saying the earth is flat I believe that people have the right to say it.
Ther is no middle ground there. Either the governement let the citizen exercise their freedom of speach not mater how outrageous they sound or it don’t and trample the constitution and therefore is breaking the law.
Beyond this point It is the job of the citizen and not the job of the governement to answer and counter this type of weardo talk. It is our job to watch for each other regarding ethnicity skin color and religion.
