Coca-Cola, Pepsi, ‘major water polluters’

p2pnet news view | Off Topic:- America’ s favourite burp producers, Coca-Cola and PepsiCo, are among the top 12 major water polluters in China’s capital, Beijing, says the Beijing Development and Reform Commission.

Quoted by Agence France-Presse, the commission, Beijing’s economic planning agency, published the list, along with the top 15 energy users in the capital, which included the Beijing Benz-DaimlerChrysler plant,” says the story, going on:

China has set a goal of reducing average energy consumption by 20 percent from 2006 to 2010.

The 27 entities, ” will be subject to increased supervision and asked to submit plans to reduce energy use and pollution emissions, the commission said,” the story says, adding,  ” Beijing’s top energy users were the Capital Iron and Steel Corporation and the American chemical company Praxair.”

    The story goes far deeper then this. Coca-cola has literally ruined entire eco systems around their plants and deliberately poisoned food production by instructing villagers to use their factories wast as ‘fertiliser’. They are installing thousands of deep wells all over the world anticipating the water market, to be the next big market- like oil is today. They are moving to take hold of water resources as big oil has taken hold of oil resources. If others access to water is polluted, all the better for them- then they have a customer that ‘needs’ their product. Their are truly evil things afoot- and their right in the mix of it. For further information see the documentary “Flow- for the love of water” . -I’m not affiliated, just passing the word- scary stuff…
