Windows 7 half-price in the UK
p2pnet news view | Products:- Full versions of Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium will cost us half as much in Britain as they cost in the US.
So says CNet News UK, going on »»»
In the UK, full versions of Windows 7 Home Premium — not an upgrade edition — are going to cost around £65. That’s less than the price the Yanks have to pay just for an upgrade version — $120 (£72) — and half what they’ll have to cough up for a full version — $200 (£122).
Amazon.co.uk is already selling the full version of Home Premium for £65, and Play.com is selling it for a little more at £75, but with free delivery.
Now, “For once, we can sit back and watch Americans shafting Americans, instead of us,” the story adds.

Isn’t that what mail order is for? If you don’t want to use p2p networks to get it free couldn’t it be ordered from the UK, or is that locked down like they won’t let you mail order drugs(even the exact same ones) at a cheaper price abroad.
