In Demand dumps Fahrenheit
p2pnet.net News:- Could it be networks time again?
P2pnetworks, that is?
“Legitimate business and legal concerns” on the part of the In Demand pay-per-view channel mean Michael Moore’s three-hour pre-election special, which includes the first tv showing of his Fahrenheit 9/11, isn’t going to air.
Not on In Demand, at least.
When Disney blocked F911 the first time around, it ended up on the p2p networks – with Moore’s eventual approval, an occurence which might have had something to do with its raging success.
In Demand was to have broadcast the special the night before the November 2 US elections but, “Apparently people have put pressure on them,” Moore is quoted as saying in BBC report, which goes on:
“Moore said he signed a contract with In Demand last month and is now considering legal action.”
In the meanwhile, president Bush (former and senior) called Moore a “slimeball,” says Foster’s Daily Democrat.
Among other things, F911 claimed high-ranking Saudi nationals were allowed to flee the US immediately after the attacks at a time when American airspace had been closed to commercial traffic, the story points out, adding that ex-president Bush complained:
“It hurts much more when your son is criticized,”

“It hurts much more when your son is criticized”
Actually, it hurts more when free speech is trampled and discarded.
Of course, any implications expressed or implied that Bush senior
had anything to do with the censorship of Fahrenheit is purely coincidental.
After all, why would he be concerned by a documentary if the facts presented are “lies”,
notwithstanding evidence to the contrary.
