Man jailed for webcam sex crimes
p2pnet news view | Crime:- A 33-year-old father of two in Uppsala, Sweden, has been jailed for eight years for raping a teenager, “and engaging in a series of webcam-related sex crimes involving 60 girls”.
He was charged with 65 offences including aggravated child exploitation through sexual posing, child rape, and sexual coercion, says The Local.
He was also ordered to pay a total of 1 million kronor ($140,400) in compensation to the girls, says the story, adding:
“The case came to light after the man was accused of raping a 14-year-old girl from the Stockholm area who he had known previously, rather than through an encounter on the internet.
“A girl from western Sweden contacted police shortly thereafter to report that a man had contacted her on the internet and forced her to perform sex acts in front of a webcam and threatening to kill her if she did not comply.
“Police were then able to trace the man’s IP-address and discover that the accused rapist and the webcam offender were the same man.”

2nd commenter: Sweden has generally speaking a rather lax view on punishment, and main focus is on rehabilitation. I don’t know how well this plays out in practice, but Sweden has a rather low rate of crime in general. That is at least what I have been brought up to believe.. I also was brought up to believe the laws were fair….
But yeah.. raping a kid is bad. 8(

My question would be why didn’t the other 60 come forward before or now or are they ashamed or what. They could be called anon for all I care when + if they were to report, its just that their side of the story needs to be out too.

A threat of death can go a long way, if the victim feels alone or is unaware there may be others.
