Disney Ovitz trial online
p2pnet.net News:- What? You’ve never heard of Michael Ovitz?!
“We cheered when his powerhouse CAA began crumbling,” says EOnline. “We cheered even more when he was publicly canned by Michael Eisner – even if he did walk away with zillions.”
Disney shareholders are suing the company’s board and Chief Executive Officer Michael Eisner, saying that a $140 million severance package for Michael Ovitz, the superstar agent who briefly served as Eisner’s deputy, was financially irresponsible, says CNETÂ News.
“In his long-awaited appearance in a Delaware courtroom, Ovitz said Eisner made colossal blunders – including blowing off a ground-floor chance to own a chunk of Yahoo! for $250 million, a stake that today could be worth as much as $16 billion, and not signing Jackson to a recording deal,” says the New York Post.
Will the trial show Hollywood in its true light – the land where being able to speak with two tongues and destroy anyone who stands in your way are highly desirable qualities.
