I hope they wake up soon and back down,everytime i read something they do that pisses me off i ramp up the downloading just alittle more.If i ramp it up anymore i will have to stop buying food!,the broadband cost is killing me!.

I think the Mafiaa have been successful in raping the constitution since Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, or the Privileges or Immunities Clause, states:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Here is an idea. Next time you have what you think is a bright idea, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! Don’t share it with anyone. There you go, intellectual property protected.

Personally as an artist I would want to share my ideas and creations. I don’t expect to be paid for them nor do I feel any sense of entitlement. If people like my work enough to download and share it, even going so far as to calling themselves a fan of my work, well that just makes me beam with pride. That is payment in it’s own right. I’m not greedy.

It’s time for all the other artists out there to make peace with their fans and realize they do not deserve fame and riches just because they feel a sense of self entitlement. As a child you were probably raised to believe that you can do and be anything you want but this is a lie. You may want to believe that lie even as a grown adult who should know better, but it is in fact reality which dictates the terms of our existence, not wishful thinking. The sooner so called artists realize that, the better of they will be. Life sucks and there are no guarantees so get over yourself and learn to adapt.

Seriously, do you think all those fans of yours who are struggling to make a living in the rat race and can barely afford one of your albums is happy at their role in life or expect everything to simply be given to them? Stop living in the clouds and grow up already. Kicking hard working people while they are already down (like Jamie Thomas for example) is not how you keep fans. Learn to compromise. Work together towards a solution. Respect each other. Do that and I’m betting you will be surprised.
