I’m here in Limerick City Ireland, and was schooled at a Christian Brothers School, CREAGH LANE CBS. LIMERICK CITY, in the poorer part of town. A more obnoxious group of so Called Christian Brothers that I ever came across, Pedophile’s, Sadists, etc etc.,
They ruined so many lives, Many people got the Emigration boat because of them, and left Ireland behind to its blinkered vision. I am now 66 years old and It feels just like yesterday when I think of those Criminals. With all the recent publicity it brings it all back so vividly.
Makes me ashamed to be Irish.

Are you kidding?!

The reason we have so many of these pedophile priests running around is because the CHURCH does everything it can to dismiss and ignore any complaints, and sweep the whole thing under the rug. Like your Hollywood example, the Catholic Church also tries to protect its own ass by sheltering its criminals, until the story gets so big they can no longer hide it. At that point, the Church then pulls the “180″ on the one is question (”throwing them to the wolves”, as you say), in order to give the appearance that they have no tolerance for such things and had no idea it was happening, thus covering their own ass again.
