How can a car fit through a tiny modem?

p2pnet news view P2P:- Now it can be revealed.

Online, frequent p2pnet tipster Andrew — that’s ‘tipster,’ not ‘tippler,’ ie, someone who gets pissed all the time — is frequent p2pnet comment poster Comeoncomcast.

“Ahhhh Its a trap lol :P” – he says in a Yes! Reader’s Write to our story on a Reuters report which (wait for it) says the Hollywood studios are warming to the net.

He goes on »»»

I saw a motivational pic once which made fun of the Aussies MPAA/RIAA Style Anti-Piracy Ad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJuw8EA0cYQ) that plays before every movie in a cinema here in Melbourne (Well the cinemas Ive been to, and Yes I watch movies at the Cinema No :shock: lol I have 3 movie tix in my wallet but I am pro-piracy movement

and btw, if your thinking it I am, not a hypocrite I am a university student, and we do have Social lives I just watch occasional movies at the cinema)

anyway in the poster they replaced `you wouldnt steal a car` with `you wouldnt download a car` (was the text in the pic and said FxxK you I would If I could)

First of all, that is impossible, I dont know how a Car can fit through a tiny modem :S lol and Limewire or uTorrent look nothing like a big blue download button lol

and I have a gem for fellow p2pnet readers this ad; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGCJ7qYI48E is a 90s anti-piracy video that are on multiple videos we bought during the 90s;

I can just imagine someone with a video with the label `Pirate Video` and a Pirate song starts playing (:

Nice one, Andrew. ;)

  1. Devil's Advocate Says:

    Yeah, I’m so glad video cassettes gave way to digital media.
    …Now our pirated copies don’t have to be “INFERIOR” any longer!
    :)

  2. NO1UNO Says:

    You want inferior? Go rent any movie you can think of from Blockbuster and I can about
    promise you it will have at least one large skip that wiping the disk with a proper cloth
    WILL NOT FIX. I can download better quality than I can rent, so what do you suppose
    I’m most likely to do, rent or download???

  3. Reader's Write Says:

    huh? I rent from blockbuster all the time- rarely have problems- kids movies being an exception, they often are scratched; and blurays are picky as hell about being even slightly scratched. you might want to check your equipment NO1UNO- a good cleaning can go a long way on older machines.

    Download a car? Hell yea I’d download a car! I’d download 10 or 20 cars if I could, and give them to people who need cars- and keep a couple nice ones for myself- prolly a Bugatti Veyron, and a nice custom 4×4 Top Kick hauler with a dump bed (you can download fuel too then, right?) – hey, we’re dreaming here…. course, if computers could just ’spit out’ cars and fuel, most of the worlds problems would pretty much be solved… physical reasorces being unlimited like digital ones are (practically)… What a silly (though nice) thought.

  4. Comeoncomcast (aka Andrew) Says:

    Jon wait, wait

    @NO1UNO

    As the Instructions state ‘you must apply a an alcohol-based(Whiskey/Kaluha does not work :P ) cleaning agent on a moist cloth, apply the cloth in an out-ward direction away from the disc-centre, repeat all around the disc remember in an outward direction xD’

    @Readers’s Write
    Nah, its because the Studios burn their discs at a high speed you see because their paranoia is setting in xD thats why the movies suck lol

  5. Comeoncomcast (aka Andrew) Says:
