Every cloud has a silver lining as they say. This is yet another perfect example of how all those sue-em-all campaigns can at least have some sort of positive impact. It's forcing programmers to become more creative in the development of file sharing applications, and users to become more concerned regarding their rights, security, and privacy. Certianly anything that improves privacy and security is welcome by all means. Personally I contribute monthly to the MUTE project, even though I don't actually use the software (yet), just believe in the concept and that the root idea should be supported. Still waiting for something to appear that works truly well and become as popular as Kazaa used to be. Probably won't be long at the rate things are currently progressing in the world.
