I’m disappointed that whoever made it (still) thinks it’s neccesary to do this shit about “we’re not against copyright law”.
Fuck that: ten years or more into the corporate megaliths dicking everybody around, ripping off artists, and routinely ignoring the exceptions that DO exist to it (fair use, etc?) I can’t quite wrap my mind around why more people WOULDN’T be against copyright law.

Do people *really* still think it’s actually a “good thing” that’s just being “abused?”

It’s not: THIS shit is exactly what copyright was intended to do: benefit publishers/distributors, and FUCK everybody else — creators, fans, random bystanders, etc.

Who knows: maybe a few hundred thousand people having the balls to BE against copyright law – call it a “neccesary evil” if you’re going to tolerate it’s existence, but at least admit that it *is* evil — might actually change things.

But no, people are still too goddamn cowardly to go that far. They still entertain some kind of delusions about how copyright serves some kind of noble purpose, or the existing corporate music industry is a good thing, or whatever.

If any other “business-model” had a 1% “success”-rate and caused this much havoc, it’d be seen as a pyramid scheme or scam, and the laws allowing it to continue in that form would have been revised OR REPEALED, but we’re not seeing that with the copyright law — YET.

Fuckers are digging their own graves — AND discrediting the entire concept of “copyright” in the process.

Go, WMG, Go — the more you guys do this shit, the easier it will be to eventually get the laws changed.

The industry is abusing fans, abusing artists, abusing copyright. How long will it take the government to finally step in and say enough is enough? Both the US and the UK laid the smack down on Microsoft not too long ago showing they are able to muster the will to set things right again. Sadly the industry is a massive unfeeling greed machine with a huge amount of money and power to match. No bribe, no lawyer, no lobbyist, no politician is too costly if that is what it takes to keep the monster fed. At this point all we can probably hope for is that enough consumers/fans come onboard to boycott the industry that the monster ends up devouring itself until nothing is left but scraps.
