Marge Simpson: Playboy November cover girl

The pic on the right of Marge Simpson as Playboy’s November cover girl isn’t a joke.
In any sense of the word.
“Playboy released a picture of the cover shot on Friday featuring Marge artfully concealed behind a chair in the shape of the iconic Playboy Bunny logo,” says The Independent.
“The magazine promises a story inside on ‘The Devil in Marge Simpson,’ an interview and more pictures, including a centerfold pullout.”
Putting Marge on the cover is a ploy, “designed to attract younger readers,” says Times Live, also pointing out:
“For those who do collect the magazine — and they’re out there — the cover will bring to mind another first for the magazine that occurred in 1971 when a black woman appeared on the cover in exactly the same pose and, like Marge, smiling under an impressive head of hair.”
Scary.

The sad thing is they dropped a really hot woman of that cover for that shit. The new Editor decided he didn’t want to do anything with wrestling so they dropped TNA Knockout Traci Brooks… for… Marge Simpson… i mean if they went with Clara from Drawn Together or even Leela from Futurama, ok, but i never thought that Marge was hot.. not a little bit.

I wonder if there will be an episode of The Simpons where all the kids at school tease Bart, and are looking at her pics. All the guys at Homers work, the bar etc.
If you are going to do a crossover like something like that then you better at least do it right.

Oh come on now. Granted that the image above doesn’t do much, but do none of you find Marge even a little bit sexy when she lets her hair down? Be honest now. Personally I’m with Jay and think there will be more to this. I also think it was a good idea, especially if they are targeting a particular demographic they’ve perhaps never been strong with before. Figure out which MILF loving demographic that is and you’ll get it. Remember, cartoons have never been limited to just children. Even the Flintstones weren’t during their run, something folks tend to forget nowadays.
