p2pnet news view | Off Topic:- Britain’s Stephen Hawking, 67, says he’ll soon be arriving in Canada for a one-month stay.
He’s booked for the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario, next summer, it says.
He’ll be a research chair.
“Perimeter Institute is a very exciting venture,” Hawking states.
“Its chosen scientific focus, quantum theory and space-time, is very close to my heart.”
A new Hawking wing is being built at a cost $30 million as part of the institute’s expansion campaign.
