simple solution: disable Windows ‘autorun’ functions so potential malware on the drive won’t automatically execute (per Windows default setting) when a USB device is inserted.

So, it just means that in the near future, the DON will provide the clean Flash drives that staff will take home, plug into their own cluelessly-managed computers, and take the malware back to work with them. Solves everything.
