Akon tries to break up Oz concert brawl
p2pnet news view Music:- Rapper Akon took P2P literally in Australia, on Sunday night.
He went person-to-person into a crowd to break up a fight during a Melbourne concert.
Eighteen people were hurt, and shadow attorney-general Robert Clark says the brawl at the Hisense Arena Sunday night has damaged Melbourne’s reputation abroad, reports the Herald Sun.
“Akon claimed he was forced to stop his concert, as rival gangs appeared to launch brutal attacks on each other in the crowd,” says the story,
The incident was another example of violence spiralling out of control in Melbourne, it has Clark saying, declaring.
“It’s now getting to the stage where overseas visitors are remarking on the fact that Melbourne’s not safe.”

Akon himself leapt into the crowd for what he described as a “distraction” to try to stop a series of brawls at the concert.
Two security guards were brutally bashed when more than 50 people stormed the entrance.
Akon has battled to win an Aussie visa to due to criminal convictions.
“I don’t know if y’all know hard it took me to get here,” he told the crowd as he sat on the shoulders of his security guard.
“It took me almost two years for Australia to let me back in the country and I’m not going to let them f— up our concert tonight!”
