Pirate Bay duo face $140K in fines
p2pnet news view Freedom | P2P:- With Global Gaming Factory boss Hans Pandeya reportedly on one end of another attempt to buy The Pirate Bay, and ex-TPB spokesman Peter Sunde (centre) supposedly on the other, his two former colleagues are having problems.
The Stockholm district courtsays it’ll fine Gottfried Svartholm Warg (right) and Fredrik Neij (left) about $US 70,000 each —-
—- unless they stop running the site.
According to the court, “Gottfried Svartholm Warg and Fredrik Neij are still involved in the internationally known site and should they continue to do so will they be fined nearly $US 70,000 each,” says Radio Sweden.
But Sunde “rejects the courts claims calling them not justified,” says the story, adding:
“Neither of the two men lives in Sweden nor is the site being operated from here, Sunde told news agency TT. From that point of view, Stockholm district court has no judicial means to threaten the two, Sunde added.”
Stay tuned.
Warg and Neij deny the accusations.

and according to TF ‘The Stockholm District Court has taken action
against two founder members of The Pirate Bay.
Gottfrid Svartholm and Fredrik Neij are now
banned from operating the site and will have to
pay fines of $71,000 each if they continue. This,
despite the fact that they nor the site remain in
Sweden.’
The Stockholm Court have failed because theyre issuing fines, and a ‘ban’(and the guys) to a site that is on longer in the Swedish Border

Let’s see… $140k divided by 20 million people… that’s seven-tenths of a cent.
