Though not normally but they have, a miner in upper Sask was jogging back to camp and a lone wolf attacked him, luckily it was a lone wolf and the headlock the miner put the wolf in held until the bus of miners arrived. And a UWaterloo geo eng student, again in Northern Sask, was out alone for a walk around 7pm, his remains was found the next morning, surrounded by wolf tracks.

As their food gets scarce they become more brave and in rare occurrences attack humans.

RW: Wolves aren’t known to attack humans, either. Most wild canines are very shy, unless they’re rabid.

completely bizarre- coyotes are usually more scavengers then hunters, and taking down a adult human? that just seams… maybe it was wolves? What a crappy way to go in any case.
