NVIDIA, Intel, shake hands

p2pnet.net News:- 3-D graphics chipmaker NVIDIA will sell chipsets for PCs using Intel microprocessors.

The deal is based on a multi-year patent cross-license agreement that spans multiple product lines and product generations, say the two companies.

“Additionally, the companies signed a multi-year chipset agreement for NVIDIA to license Intel’s front-side bus technology,” they say.

This will alow NVIDIA to deliver nForce platform technology on Intel-based systems.

Nvidia is already making nForce chipsets for AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) PCs.

Its GPUs, MCPs and WMPs are used in a variety of platforms including consumer and enterprise PCs, notebooks, workstations, PDAs, mobile phones, and video game consoles.

Darn it and I really like nvidia, too bad they had to sell thier soul to the devil and get in bed with intel. Amd+nvidia are an really good combination. Lets hope nvidia reconsiders! At this point intel’s products are 2nd rate compaired to amd, so why would nvidia want to support them?

  2. Reader's Write Says:

The answer to why they would do this is obvious. They are looking for a higer amount of income.

It has nothing to do with first or second rate anything.

    Surely you can understand that…

Might as well be shaking dicks while theyre at it..
