I switched over to Firefox six months back. I was so enthralled by its application, nowadays I never venture into Internet Explorer.

I think the masses are missing the big picture...those who attack IE don't do it to get back at Microsoft, or Bill Gates. They do it 'cause they can. They're not going to waste time exploiting flaws in Netscape or any other browser, because their work will not be 'seen' by the masses.
As long as IE remains the 'most used' browser, it'll remain the 'most attacked'.
If it becomes common belief (and the Firefox browser becomes used more and more) that this 'new' browser is more 'secure', then thats like dangling a carrot under the horses nose!
The only other highly used item that appeals to these types are cellphones....as with anything, if it becomes popular, then there will be those who make a game out of exploiting its weaknesses.
Right now I'm sure (mostly 'cause of the hype it has recieved), that there are quite a few out there fiddling with Firefox.
I'm quite happy with Netscape 4.79, and I betcha no 'hacker' type is interested in my choice of browser!
