p2pnet donation appeal

p2pnet.net News:- Who runs p2pnet?

I do. By myself.

How much money do I make?

I’m in what economists call a negative cash-flow situation and the ads don’t cover the costs, although enough comes in to keep me from starving while I write most of the copy, research new stories, answer emails and update the site constantly from about 5:00 am until around 4:00 pm Pacific, seven days a week, all year-around.

Well, OK. I only work about 12 hours over the weekend ;- )

p2pnet isn’t an entrepreneurial venture. It’s a commitment. But it’s my sole source of income so if you have anything to spare, please make a donation via the PayPal box at the bottom right. It all counts.

I’m working on ideas to generate more income, including t-shirts and voluntary subscriptions, and the new site will be up soon, offering a few more possibilities.

If you’d like to contribute but you don’t feel comfortable with PayPal, please contact me at jon[at]p2pnet[dot]net.

Cheers! And thanks for your help. And all the best …
Jon

I would like to, unfortunetely I am out of work at the moment. Im 23 years old and was just granted my own place to live 6 months ago. I dont have any money and college is a factor right now.
Trust me, i would if i could.

This must be the only p2p-oriented site that is not just a hobby. Usually having an ad banner on the page is enough to pay for the hosting cost, and the writers being part-time volunteers.

Jon, Does your wife work? or is this site your only household income?

I just hope P2PNet never has to resort to popup porno ads to survive.
