RIAA? Please...consider jurisdiction. The RIAA is American. They have no authority over Ukrainian based organizations (which Demonoid currently is, iirc). Ukraine's anti piracy group is perfectly happy to let non Ukrainians pirate as much as they want (or rather, Demonoid has established such a legal truce with them).

By the way, in case people haven't noticed, Demonoid's tracker is supposed to be fully functional, finally. The site is offline, but their torrents will work now, if you still have a unfinished Demonoid torrent.

There are still some torrents that originated there that are usable. By adding the list of additional trackers helpfully provided on Demonoid's main page self-reload, many of the larger torrents have perked up and are surviving.

In an interview some weeks ago, it was revealed that the server has to be rebooted or replaced by someone in the country where it resides (did I hear it was Belarus? I forgot already) and that person has either not been able to get there to fix it, or has not been contactable.

Not very helpful, I know; but at least we know it's not because of the RIAA.
