1- start menu, run, type cmd press enter
2- type ipconfig/flushdns press enter
3- type ipconfig/registerdns press enter
4- try to access the site mp3search. ru it should work

Hey yeah same old same old…wonderng how much progress is being made cuz it still says it’ll be back by the 13th Oct, way gone, but that note hasn’t been updated. Guessing they’ve either given up and gone home, or they’re working their ass’s off to get up and running so can’t waste the time posting us notes about start up times…This site saved me shit loads of money too so start praying this gets sorted..

This isnt a scam. It is completely legal in russia to do this. They buy the right of the music cheap and then sell it. In russia, about 10 cents is about $2.00 there. So there getting a hell of a lot more than you think. site may be back or not im not sure but i been with them for lil over a year and ver had a much problem. there have been discussion that there server went down and there redoing everything. I heard possibley wednesday they will b e back up. dont count me on that tho.

Glad to see that mp3search is coming back.It seems alot of people have no patience and thought it was a scam,but if something has been working well for that long I should think its safe.I am sure it must be upgrading or there system crashed,we have all had that happen I guess.

I’ve never had any trouble burning the songs onto mp3, and the popularity of the site suggests noboby else has either. All are in standard mp3 format. They are hardly likely to advise people that they can’t copy them when they can !

Can you create a playable CD with other mp3s? My apologies if I am insulting your intelligence, but it sometimes pays to go back to basics (and I’ve seen someone get this wrong before!) – you do know you have to use Nero or similar software to burn the songs AS a CD, and not just copy over the mp3 files?

As someone else said, there’s a message now saying they’ll be back ( a major system failure of some sort seems the likely explanation), so don’t write off your money yet.

As to a scam, no it isn’t, although your guess as to where the money ends up probably isn’t far off the mark. It is hugely popular (10c rather than 99c or more?!), and makes far more money as a legitimate business, under Russian law anyway.

The last couple of weeks or so the server capacity was constantly being exceeded, so they may just be upgrading. allofmp3.com is still there, and I can’t see legal action of any sort being taken against one and not the other.

Anyway, even they are gone, I’d got my money’s worth. It might at least make the point to a very greedy industry that people are sick of being ripped off by inflated prices, especially in Europe.. and that if their own downloads were cheaper (and that doesn’t have to be anywhere near as cheap as the Russian sites) they would make more profit rather than less.

Yeah same here.Not been able to access mp3search.ru for 4 days now…..Its a shame that is appears to have been closed down cause it was an awsome site……I had just put $40 credit on too…..so am a bit annouyed at that, but have used the site for over a year and must have saved $100’s so its not a huge deal.

http://www.allofmp3.ru is still up and running..thank the lord…
