these guys just dont think long term do they? a huge portion of the population will just turn their backs and not pay for anything,or use the products. short term profits will be made but in the long run they will lose billions as theyve alienated millions of people.

I wish that Murdoch would take all his “content” off the net and see if anyone is willing to actually pay for any of it.

He seems upset that he can’t control Google, Facebook, Twitter, and the Blogs. And somehow that very much pleases me.

So just because you can get by with these things, Cyberscan, and a select few others, the rest be damned eh? Also, I’ll remind you that the free exchange of information, in many cases, is useless unless it comes in a timely manner, i.e. in time to do something about what they might pertain to.

Folks like Rupert conveniently forget that the internet was designed and paid for by the American taxpayer and then stolen, just like our federal government itself.

So the governments and cartels want to lock down the Internet? That’s fine with me. I can store the entire inventory of a video store in a small package and transmit it to folks in my area without any damned Internet, and the funny part about it is that any hacker worth his or her salt can do the same. Rupert and the likes are going to cut their own throats as well as that of millions of innocents just to try to force their outdated model of control. To tell you the truth, I don’t download their crap simply because I don’t like their product. I maintain channel subscriptions just for my family, and they are getting tired of the crap that is being shown. I subscribe to Internet service simply because it is a way for me to communicate and exchange information. When or if it becomes impossible for me to use the Internet to do that without being ripped off at every turn, then I will simply cancel my Internet service. Many others will do the same. However, the free exchange of information will continue even if it is at a more latent pace.

Think of all the $$ currently made with free content all gone! Think of all the movies you won’t go to, all the DVD’s you won’t buy, all the news papers you won’t buy and read, all the news (like Fox News or CNN) you won’t trouble you head with, all the music you won’t have to download or buy or buy in a store, all the sales online of clothing, cars, tshirts, electronics components, software, etc…

Just think of all those currently generated $$ via free content of the Internet, GONE!

Murdoch, even your heart attack from watching your financial worth plummet, will only be known to those who were there to see it, as few will converse about such things outside your circle.

You should get glasses to remove the $$ in your eyes! Short term extreme gains means unsustainable short term income. You’ll lose, the masses won’t care either way!
