‘Tutu’ casino buys Virgin Mary
p2pnet.net OT News:-In the UK it comes to £15,000. In South Africa it’s R168,000, in Australia, $A36,000 and in the US of A, $28,000.
Any way you slice it, that’s a lot of bread for a piece of toast.
$28K is, however, the amount paid for a 10-year-old grilled cheese sarnie with a face on one side because, decided its former owner, Diana Duyser, the visage looks like the Virgin Mary.
She doesn’t explain how she was able to draw this conclusion, but that’s what she says, and that’s how she billed it on eBay.
Did a religious organization buy it?
Nope. It went to the Golden Palace casino.
If the name rings a bell, it’s probably because you remember the casino’s famous Olympic streaker-in-a-tutu incident.
So what’s going to happen to the Virgin Mary now.
p2pnet can reveal (heh) that it’ll adorn t-shirts – which’ll be touted for $19.99 a throw.
