Fortunately I am in a PhD and my department pays everything for me, but it IS tough for all college and master students, The fees have been upped A LOT too. And add also the absurd cost of parking (or better fighting for finding a parking spot...ridiculous, in my school 1000$/year). Listen to this, some months ago they said it was necessary to cut expenses and they even cut personnel that cleans. As a consequence, some areas including restrooms are no longer cleaned every day. Think about paying tens of thousands of $$ for school and not even being able to find clean restrooms... It's no wonder these students are angry as hell. I am myself in a UC school.
