Mozilla previews Thunderbird
p2pnet.net News:- Flushed with the success of Firefox 1.0, Mozilla is now previewing its standalone Thunderbird 0.9 email application which, it claims, is the smartest way to stop junk mail.
Designed from the ground up, the open source cross-platform mail client provides enterprise and government grade security features such as S/MIME, digital signing, message encryption, support for certificates and security devices, says the foundation.
Thunderbird is based on the Mozilla codebase and, "is a robust and easy to use client, similar to competing products like Outlook Express, but with some major advantages such as junk mail classification," states Mozilla.
