Woman uses Facebook to call cops
p2pnet news view | Crime:- A woman in Sweden used Fa$ebook to call the cops when a “27-year-old male acquaintance” threatened her with a knife.
“She apparently didn’t have access to a telephone, but was able to use a computer to send out a call for help to her Facebook friends,” The Local quotes the Göteborgs-Posten (GP) newspaper as saying.
“According to a statement from police, several friends of the 23-year-old woman called police shortly after 1am to report that their friend was begging for help via Facebook,” says the story, adding:
“By the time police responded to the call, the woman had managed to escape from the apartment and was waiting outside with a friend.”
