Don’t use IE, warns Penn State U
p2pnet.net News:- Hollywood’s favourite senior educational institution, Penn State University, is, "urging that the University computing community use standards-based Web browsers other than Internet Explorer to help minimize exposure to attacks that occur through browser vulnerabilities".
Its warning comes in a PennState Live post and goes on to recommend Firefox as one of the alternatives available.
"It works with all Web-based applications used at Penn State," says the message, adding that Mozilla, Netscape Communicator and Opera are other options.

IE is a program of the past, it hasnt received any significant updates in many many years. It took them 5 years just to put a popup stopper into it, do you think for one second microsoft cares about the end-user?
