HP launches cheap PC in China
p2pnet.net News:- It’s not a $100 PC, but at 4,000 yuan (about $480), it’s cheap enough.
And it’s from Hewlett-Packard.
The price matches that for a similar basic model introduced earlier this year by the China’s biggest seller Lenovo Group, says Xihuanet.
Not at all coincidentally, Lenovo has just bought IBM’s PC-making assets for some $1.25 billion.
"Other Chinese PC makers like Founder and ASUS are also cutting their computer prices in a bid to scramble for customers before Lenovo integrates its business with IBM’s PC assets," says Xinhuanet.
