Apple sues Tiger posters
p2pnet.net News:- Apple is suing three developers who, it claims, posted an advanced copy of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger to BitTorrent sites in October and December.
Now it’s looking for an injunction to stop that happening again, and unspecified monetary damages, says Macworld UK.
It’s already suing an unidentified individual who it says “misappropriated and disseminated confidential information” and released it online.
“The latest action was against members of the Apple Developer Connection, a group of programmers which gets to see test versions of upcoming software so they can develop or change their own programs to work with them,” says the BBC.
“Members of Apple Developer Connection receive advance copies of Apple software under strict confidentiality agreements, which we take very seriously to protect our intellectual property,” it quotes Apple as saying in a statement.
