Drug firms issue Moore alerts
p2pnet.net OTÂ News:- “We ran a story in our online newspaper saying Moore is embarking on a documentary and if you see a scruffy guy in a baseball cap, you’ll know who it is,” said Stephen Lederer.
Lederer isn’t one of George W. Bush’s minions, warning of a new attack on America’s ruler by F911’s Michael Moore.
Rather, he’s a spokesman for Pfizer Global Research and Development and he’s quoted in an ABC News story which says Moore’s next victim is likely to be the health care industry, ”including insurance companies, HMOs, the Food and Drug Administration and drug companies,” says the report, going on:
“In September and October, Wyeth, AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithKline, the second-largest in retail sales, sent out Moore alerts, instructing employees that questions posed by the media or filmmakers should be handled by corporate communications.”
Certainly, the drug companies and associated concerns of all kinds would be rich ground for Moore.

Victim? I know it’s just a figure of speech. I would not call MM’s films “attacks”. Sure they may be a bit one sided and have a clear agenda. They are still just reporting and based in fact (with perhaps some editorializing on Michael’s part). I guess plain old exposure scares the bejesus out of the powers that be…

To quote the bush administration and their cronies:
“you have nothing to fear if youve done nothing wrong”
Come now, what have you to fear from moore if you have no dirt for him to dig up?
Oh wait.. youre drug companies, you market amphetamines to children and encourage overuse of antibiotics, thus inviting creation of worldwide superplagues in the near future.

Oh come on, you know damn well this is a logical fallacy used by pro-authoritarian people… it sounds like it makes sense until you look at history, then it becomes obvious that this argument is a load of bullcrap.
