Kenyan Net service Improves

p2pnet.net News:- Kenyan surfers will soon have an expanded, more reliable and less expensive internet service following a Communication Commission of Kenya (CCK) decision to license Kenya Data Network (KDN) Limited and Jamii Telecom.

“Prior to the latest development, only Telkom Kenya provided the service through Jambonet,” says the East African Standard. “ISPs have continuously complained that Jambonet was congested and occasionally experienced overloads.

“The new development means that Telkom’s Jambonet will now meet competition from the two licensed operators and service charges are likely to go down.”
