p2pnet.net News:- Another corporate music site is on the way for 2005, you’ll be delighted to learn.

Britain’s HMV Group says it’s spending around £10 million to add its very own “digital downloading service” to the jumble of existing sites, all selling the same, boring Big Music product at the same exorbitant prices.

Software is being developed in partnership with Microsoft, says HMV, adding that its ‘product’ will be, “usable with over 75 portable players currently in the market” and that some of them will be sold in HMV UK stores.

The company didn’t say how much downloads will cost.
