http://www.digital-update.com and others are still the sources for torrents of all descriptions, users should be aware of the spyware exeem brings with it...

As well as killing the community by meaning torrents no longer need to be uploaded, privacy is gone a group cannot share a torrent amongst themselves as if 1 user is downloading with exeem that torrent becomes available to the masses..

If it has ads in it I don't trust it, ads can very easily provide a ready made malware transport, even just images! Given it is closed source I will have no way to verify that it is secure.

IMHO there is NO excuse for closed source software now, especially for security systems, it have been proven too many times before that most closed source systems are less secure than OSS.

Stupid, stupid boneheads, they'll get sued, get reverse engineered or cracked (outside the US, so no DMCA) and a more secure OSS version will appear!

Im going to have to agree with you. The MPAA and RIAA has been playing their games long enough, its time we finally have some place we can call home for torrents. I was sick of sites shutting down every week, worked long and hard to make torrents and come next day the sites are gone or made legal, (filesoup, hawkies world to name a few) Im looking forward to this program, modified bittorrent protocol with kazaa-type functionality, absolute brilliance. If you thought the studios had a problem before, they havent seen anything yet. They can go after us and dmca us all they want, but they'll never stop it, not after exeem hits the net.

I tried out a beta a week ago, couldnt do much searching or anything but its definetely user-friendly. I can understand the need for advertisement, this is one of those programs i would still enjoy even if it has optional spyware. Heck, edonkey and overnet have a banner and i still used it.
