Awwww, poor little boy. Can't afford a decent computer? Got to go with your tail between your legs to Dell and Microsoft so you can get your useless box of rubbish for $300? Windows users are either unenlightened to the truth, or are 'morons' as you so eloquently put.

Does the author actually read news items before commenting on them? Apple are meerly trying to ascertain the identity of the people who disclosed their trade secrets AFTER signing a non-disclosure agreement. They are not sueing Apple fans in the same way that the entertainment industry does its customers, to compare the two is ignorant.

And yes it does matter to them that this information is leaked. As you point out the Mac community is fervently interested in new prducts. If you tell them all that a replacement product is on the way there is no way they will purchase current products and Apple is left with a ton of useless computers and so out of pocket.

Apple has the right to sue the "fan" who broke a nondisclosure agreement.

It is no longer a rumor when you actually break your nondisclosure agreement.

I happen to like Apple maintaining its secret for a big Steve presentation.

Oohs and Ahhs and oggling at new Apple products are why I go to MacWorld.

Go Apple!!! Yeah!!!
