Jilted woman deletes RPG data

p2pnet.net News:- How does that saying go?

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned?

A female games enthusiast in Japan who got into her boyfriend’s RPG and deleted all his data is now facing charges for violating a law banning illegal access.

Quite right too. heh

“I did it as revenge for breaking up with me,” police quote her as saying, reports Mainichi Shimbun, going on:

“The man, who is in his 20s, did not suffer financially because of the woman’s actions, but she deleted items such as weapons and clothes that he had spent time collecting in the game. Investigators said the woman accessed the online role-playing game ‘Lineage’ using the man’s username and password.”

Players can type messages to each other and have their characters team up: that was how the two met, “but they soon broke up, police said,” adds the story.
