Start from a high enough location and boost the power of the transmitter and receiver and you could probably control such planes for a couple miles. More than enough to send it out to spy on someone while remaining unseen. For that matter, you can buy kits of large-scale RC planes, some as large as 6 feet long or more, powered by turbine engines. Such planes would have no trouble carrying a couple pounds of C4 or other explosive.</description>
