iTunes’ 250 million sales
p2pnet.net News:- Where would Apple be without the mainstream media? And the Big Music cartel, of course. And U2. And those faithful few Apple cultists.

The above headlines are but a few media raves from today’s Google news line-up parroting an Apple PR puff piece that it’s sold 250 million tracks since it fired up iTunes in 2003.
Apple’s 250 million, which represents virtually the total of all corporate music sales including those by Napster II, RealNetworks, et al, doesn’t even begin to register with what’s really happening with online downloads on the p2p networks.
But that’s apparently of zero interest to the men and women who supposedly fairly and accurately report what’s happening in the world.
No surprise there, but stay tuned.
In the meanwhile, here’s our headline. From yesterday – Apple’s 250 million in sales.
