Apple sues HTC

p2pnet view Mobiles:- Apple is going after phone maker HTC alleging it ‘s infringed 20 iPhone patents.

According to the BBC, “Apple said the patent infringements covered technology used in the iPhone interface as well as its ‘underlying hardware and architecture’.”

HTC makes phones for th elikes of Google and is “behind the Nexus One handset”, says the story

The action, filed with the US International Trade Commission and a district court in Delaware, is looking for a “lasting injunction which would effectively bar HTC from selling phones that use the disputed technology in the US” says the story, adding, “HTC said it had only just learned about Apple’s legal action and has not had the chance to investigate the filing”.

I’ve seen a small part of the filing, and to be honest it’s just ridiculous- one of the patents as listed is essentially being infringed by every graphical operating system in existence, for one:

I just can wait until the Nokia Vs Apple case comes to court. After the case I would be great if Nokia will not even licence there patents with Apple and that will end of Apple. HAAHAAHHAHAAHA
