BBC boosts Net broadcasts
p2pnet.net News:- Most of the BBC’s radio programme broadcasts will now be available on-demand for seven days following the release of its new Net radio player, says the UK’s Revolution.
The new player improves the current services by adding 80 more programmes, it says, going on:
“The BBC said that its latest figures show more than 10m hours of BBC radio is consumed online each month. In November last year, 6.15m unique users visited one of the BBC radio websites, a 55% increase year on year.
The Radio 4 programme ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy’ was hugely popular, with 1m on-demand listeners.”
