Mission Impossible star Peter Graves is dead
p2pnet view TV:- Goodbye, Mr Phelps.
Peter Graves, Jim Phelps in the real (not pathetic Wee Tom Cruise) Mission Impossible series, and brother of James Arness, is dead.
He passed away on Sunday just a few days before his 84th birthday from a possible heart attack.
Graves “gained widespread recognition in 1967, when he took the lead role in the TV spy drams drama” says the Reuters, adding:
“He played Jim Phelps, who would receive his team’s next instructions on a tape that would self-destruct in a puff of smoke.”

Peter Graves in Air Plane! Classic quotes:
Captain Oveur: You ever been in a cockpit before?
Joey: No sir, I’ve never been up in a plane before.
Captain Oveur: You ever seen a grown man naked?
Captain Oveur: Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?
Captain Oveur: Joey, have you ever been in a… in a Turkish prison?
Sad day!
