Apple’s ‘new’ PowerBook G4
p2pnet.net News:- Apple enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the announcement of a PowerBook G5 will have to wait a little longer.
Instead, Apple has updated its PowerBook G4.
Starting at just $1,500, the latest rev has Bluetooth 2.0, 1.5 or 1.67 ghz processors, 8x superdrives, 512mb memory, updated graphics cards, a scrolling trackpad and a sudden motion sensor.
If the laptop is dropped, the sensor parks the HD heads and when it detects the PowerBook is level again, unlocks the heads automatically, says Apple.
The ‘new’ G4 comes in 12", 15" and 17" screen versions.
